Respectively a musician and a video artist, Zôl and Charlie Mars present “Pregnant Man”, a very personal a/v performance, which tries the doubtful, yet pleasant mix of the dancefloor festive beats with the polished aesthetics of neurotic cinema.Taking advantage of the relaxation of the public, the duo tries to escape to some parallel and interchangeable worlds, using conventional codes and twisting them to have more fun, in a surprising and questioning way.

The images have a strong symbolic here, they are disturbing and therefore universal: one breathes along with pregnant men, mixed personalities, suffering, joy, disgust and envy.A peculiar a/v performance in its content, bridging the gap between the iconoclast and the playful, surreal and accessible, unpretentious and yet in high definition.
